Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Moath Al Ansari made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 9th minute of the match, Agustin Iraido tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Shaheen Al Ali saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 13 minutes into the match, DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Iraido came free, but Shaheen Al Ali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute of the game Esmael Al Arbash made a throw-in which Moath Al Ansari played forward. The supporters of DUBAI Palm Jumeirah booed when Hortensia FCG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafino Ferran didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Esmael Al Arbash threw the ball into play from the sideline. Hortensia FCG's Natalio Abreu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Eulalio Iturri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bader Al Jalahma, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Hortensia FCG's Eulalio Iturri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moath Al Ansari in the 31st minute of play. DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Agustin Iraido scored to the left of an out of position Shaheen Al Ali, making the score, 1-0. When Agustin Iraido came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Hortensia FCG fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustin Iraido couldn't finish the play. 44 minutes in the game Esmael Al Arbash did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Moath Al Ansari. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Agustin Iraido was the one to do the kick off. Bader Al Jalahma charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bader Al Jalahma the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 53 played minutes DUBAI Palm Jumeirah got a freekick which was hit by Bader Al Jalahma. In the 54th match minute, DUBAI Palm Jumeirah was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maitham Al Hajraf to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Iraido in the 58th minute of play forced DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's goalkeeper Shaheen Al Ali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute Agustin Iraido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shaheen Al Ali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moath Al Ansari got free with Eulalio Iturri in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bader Al Jalahma hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After having played for 77 minutes, Agustin Iraido managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hortensia FCG's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustin Iraido was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Agustin Iraido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bader Al Jalahma got his second yellow card in the match during the 85th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 86 played minutes DUBAI Palm Jumeirah got a freekick which was hit by Bader Al Jalahma. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Rumaldo in the 88th minute of play forced DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's goalkeeper Shaheen Al Ali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shaheen Al Ali didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agustin Iraido went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Hortensia FCG walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
