Darin Bozduganov who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Marcelinho Matorin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marcelinho Matorin was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Reinaldo Penha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexilhão F. C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Reinaldo Penha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Åke Utter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
