With a little luck, Inter Miami CF's Armando Matia got control of the ball when Rafael Sobis tried to sneak it across the goal line. 1-0 became the score in the 13th minute when Thomás de Sousa elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Adrianinho Lira hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After the first half Inter Miami CF were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Guido Maties recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silvério Dracena came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Inter Miami CF's Andy Johnson. But to his dismay, Andy Johnson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Richard Urbano during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Silvério Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Cesaro in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Trevisan in the 64th minute of play forced Inter Miami CF's goalkeeper Armando Matia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armando Matia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Trevisan, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Adrianinho Lira made a great header on ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's corner, it was just that Inter Miami CF's Armando Matia managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's Patrick Trevisan got a free kick in the 69th minute. Patrick Trevisan ran back to his position shaking his head. Adrianinho Lira kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. When the match was over Inter Miami CF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ throughout the match.
