In the 16th minute, one of CS La Libertad:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CS La Libertad. CS La Libertad:s Gabe Conejo showed great skill when he stopped Henning Åberg:s penalty. In the 19th minute Rasmus Fransson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabe Conejo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 20 minutes, Elias Carballo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CS La Libertad and the FC Bullen players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to CS La Libertad getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Elias Carballo hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the match, FC Bullen's goalkeeper Emanuel Sefastsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Porras. 38 minutes into the game, FC Bullen's Rasmus Fransson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gabe Conejo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1.

With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Rasmus Fransson managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Bullen's supporters rose to their feet, but Rasmus Fransson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabe Conejo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henry Mattsson charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henry Mattsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 64 played minutes FC Bullen got a freekick which was hit by Henry Mattsson. Emanuel Sefastsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Porras in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute CS La Libertad were awarded a corner. Marco Ureña went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led CS La Libertad's Marco Ureña to fire away a dangerous shot which Emanuel Sefastsson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. CS La Libertad's Gabe Conejo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rasmus Fransson in the 68th minute of play. CS La Libertad's Rey Salido managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Zdzislaw Wykowski in the 70 minute of the game. Ulf Hedling was extremely unlucky when he, in the 72nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. CS La Libertad's Jason Carrillo was substituted for Felipe Porras. If Rey Salido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabe Conejo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rasmus Fransson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marc Ahlroht hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After 90 played minutes FC Bullen got a freekick which was hit by Henning Åberg.
