After a rather tough play, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Sven-Edvin Lundström got a free kick in the 5th minute. William Lundgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Welch in the 6th minute of play. 6 minutes into the game, Hans Bocklund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beech United the free kick. 9 minutes into the game, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Jim Frisck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eric Allison made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Jerry Ekström charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jerry Ekström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 14 minutes into the match, Hans Bocklund notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Beech United's Eric Allison. Eric Allison was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Jim Frisck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eric Allison was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Benjamin Welch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 27 minutes of play, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Sofiane Charradi made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eric Allison was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 31st match minute, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Bocklund to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamin Welch in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck William Lundgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eric Allison took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jim Frisck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 played minutes Beech United got a freekick which was hit by Casey Brownlow. Beech United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jim Frisck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. After the first half Étoile Sportive Du Sahel were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benjamin Welch to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game Benjamin Welch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's William Lundgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 54 minutes, Fitz Potterton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Beech United and the Étoile Sportive Du Sahel players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th match minute, Beech United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fitz Potterton to maneuver through the defense. Eric Allison showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Bocklund in the 66th minute of the match. Eric Allison was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Hans Bocklund capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hans Bocklund really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jim Frisck in the 72nd minute of play forced Beech United's goalkeeper Eric Allison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 74 played minutes Étoile Sportive Du Sahel got a freekick which was hit by Jerry Ekström. Eric Allison stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hans Bocklund's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Sven-Edvin Lundström hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Hans Bocklund got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel played a much better game than Beech United and deserved their victory. The Beech United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
