Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Patricio Iratxo made the kick off which started today's match. In the 7th minute Gustavo Matosas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Beremundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Ciriaco Cordarrell notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Punta Alvear's Ramon Beremundo. Ramon Beremundo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 18 minutes into the game, one of Punta Alvear:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ramon Beremundo had in the 19thth minute some difficulties stopping Marcelo Michael's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. If Patricio Iratxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustavo Matosas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute Prudencio Ortzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Ferman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramon Beremundo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Cresitobalo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raimundo Domiku who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Ramon Beremundo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Punta Alvear were furious when Isidro Rojelio was red carded, 43 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 44th minute, Isidro Rojelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciriaco Cordarrell got free with Ramon Beremundo in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ciriaco Cordarrell to make the kick off. SAN LORENZO FC's Julio Ferman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prudencio Ortzi in the 51st minute of play. Teobaldo Terciero hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 65th match minute, Punta Alvear was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobaldo Terciero to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Cordarrell in the 74th minute of play forced Punta Alvear's goalkeeper Ramon Beremundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute Ciriaco Cordarrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Beremundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SAN LORENZO FC's Victor Heredia was substituted for Ciriaco Cordarrell. A collision led to SAN LORENZO FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Gustavo Matosas hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the game, Fabian Isadore was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Punta Alvear's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SAN LORENZO FC the free kick. After 86 played minutes Punta Alvear got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Isadore. Ramon Beremundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Heredia in the 87th minute of the match. Julio Ferman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Ortzi in the 89th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SAN LORENZO FC fully deserved thier win.
