The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan Alefors got free with Roberto Abbondanzieri in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sverker Pedersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damaso Baleren, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. During the 20th minute of the match Justo Gartzi completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Justo Gartzi a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Jan Alefors struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Roberto Abbondanzieri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SE7EN. In the 28th minute of the match CA Boca Jrs MdP got a corner. SE7EN's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hortêncio Arruda ran over to the corner to take the kick. CA Boca Jrs MdP's Hortêncio Arruda was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sverker Pedersson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 29th minute Emanuel Söderquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Abbondanzieri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Evelio Llorienzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 played minutes SE7EN got a freekick which was hit by Vilhelm Alkvist. When CA Boca Jrs MdP's Evelio Llorienzo in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SE7EN's goalie prevented a goal. Roberto Abbondanzieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Alefors in the 39th minute of the match. Roberto Abbondanzieri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulrik Holmberg in the 44th minute. After a rather tough play, SE7EN's Gösta Dahlkvist got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute of the match Hortêncio Arruda shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sverker Pedersson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, CA Boca Jrs MdP's Damaso Baleren got a free kick in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Evelio Llorienzo made a kick off. SE7EN's Sverker Pedersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Llorienzo in the 53rd minute of play. When SE7EN's Jan Alefors in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CA Boca Jrs MdP's goalie prevented a goal. Roberto Abbondanzieri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilhelm Alkvist in the 59th minute of play. A collision led to SE7EN getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Jan Alefors hit a great ball. Evelio Llorienzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Sverker Pedersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SE7EN's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gösta Dahlkvist in the 82nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Gösta Dahlkvist got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Roberto Abbondanzieri quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 88 minutes into the match, SE7EN's goalkeeper Sverker Pedersson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adan Frances. After 89 minutes SE7EN's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hortêncio Arruda who took care of the corner kick. With a little luck, SE7EN's Sverker Pedersson got control of the ball when Evelio Llorienzo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roberto Abbondanzieri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Alefors in the 93rd minute of play. The supporters of CA Boca Jrs MdP booed when SE7EN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Söderquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
