Manole Ghiondea came out and tried to block the shot, but Enzo Scutti slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. After 16 played minutes Galati Harbour Cats got a freekick which was hit by Filip Mavrogheni. After a defensive mix-up in Galati Harbour Cats's zone, Enzo Scutti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manole Ghiondea came out of the goal and Enzo Scutti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manole Ghiondea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Scutti, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Lazaro Alzate hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Aquile Azzurre's Enzo Scutti slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Manole Ghiondea. That made the score 5-0 after 34 minutes of play. Manole Ghiondea made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Miro Klose sent off a good shot on target. In the 42nd minute Miro Klose shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manole Ghiondea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Iustin Neagoe made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Galati Harbour Cats's goalkeeper Manole Ghiondea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Aquile Azzurre were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after Galati Harbour Cats's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Enzo Scutti took the corner. Enzo Scutti made a great header on FC Aquile Azzurre's corner, it was just that Galati Harbour Cats's Manole Ghiondea managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 53rdth minute of the game Miro Klose who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galati Harbour Cats's Manole Ghiondea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Panait Acalinei made in the 58th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Aquile Azzurre's Lazaro Alzate. Manole Ghiondea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Scutti in the 61st minute of play. Miro Klose's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manole Ghiondea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Manole Ghiondea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alaa Felice, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute, Miro Klose ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manole Ghiondea was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Galati Harbour Cats's Manole Ghiondea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miro Klose in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Miro Klose made a precise shot to the right of Manole Ghiondea. Galati Harbour Cats's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. After 79 played minutes Galati Harbour Cats got a freekick which was hit by Filip Mavrogheni. Manole Ghiondea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miro Klose in the 80th minute of play. Liviu Soare could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Angelo Peruzzi made a huge save. 86 minutes into the match, Galati Harbour Cats's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Scutti came free, but Manole Ghiondea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Aquile Azzurre's Enzo Scutti got a free kick in the 91st minute. 93 minutes into the game, FC Aquile Azzurre's Miro Klose nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manole Ghiondea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. FC Aquile Azzurre walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
