Ernesto Quercia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elbert Hand having to interfere. With 11 minutes on the clock, Salomo Kiviharju commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 10 minutes into the game, one of Kultapossukerho:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 12th minute there was a penalty for San Nicolò Kings. Enrico Salerni stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Elbert Hand. 1-0. With a little luck, Kultapossukerho's Elbert Hand got control of the ball when Ernesto Quercia tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Ernesto Quercia managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Nicolò Kings's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernesto Quercia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elbert Hand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Kultapossukerho's Heino Lehtonen got a free kick in the 24th minute. 24 minutes into the match, San Nicolò Kings's Enrico Salerni sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elbert Hand narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 29 played minutes San Nicolò Kings got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Mazzone. In the 30th minute Pietari Jaakkola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Costantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute Enrico Salerni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elbert Hand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kultapossukerho's Elbert Hand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrico Salerni in the 34th minute of play. Enrico Giordano struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Elbert Hand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Nicolò Kings. In the 36th minute of the match, Enrico Giordano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Elbert Hand saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ernesto Costantini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pietari Jaakkola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elbert Hand made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernesto Quercia in the 43rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Kultapossukerho's zone, Enrico Giordano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elbert Hand came out of the goal and Enrico Giordano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pietari Jaakkola stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Kultapossukerho getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Pietari Jaakkola hit a great ball. Pietari Jaakkola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Elbert Hand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrico Salerni in the 83rd minute of the match. Ernesto Costantini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pietari Jaakkola in the 85th minute of play. Pietari Jaakkola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Costantini having to interfere. The supporters of San Nicolò Kings booed when Kultapossukerho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Auno Puranen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pietari Jaakkola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Auno Puranen fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kultapossukerho's protests and gave Auno Puranen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th match minute, Kultapossukerho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Auno Puranen to maneuver through the defense. Kultapossukerho were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing San Nicolò Kings to leave the ground with a draw.
