The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dedê Aguiar hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. The long shot by Viggo Berggren in the 4th minute really tested Gláuber de Queirós's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 9 minutes into the match, AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Hamberg came free, but Gláuber de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Frederico Palmeira notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's Gláuber de Queirós. Gláuber de Queirós was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's Gláuber de Queirós proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's Pedro Paulo Correia got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After 27 played minutes AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Kauan Cabral. Kenny Holmberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinaldo França in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute of the match AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ got a corner. Salem Gunners BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Charles Trevisan ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Charles Trevisan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kenny Holmberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The crowd rose to their feet as Frederico Palmeira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gláuber de Queirós. That made the score 2-0 in the 41 minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reinaldo França was the one to do the kick off. Reinaldo França fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenny Holmberg having to interfere. AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's Gláuber de Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederico Palmeira in the 54th minute of play. A collision led to Salem Gunners BK getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Alex Haraldsson hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute Reinaldo França shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenny Holmberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gláuber de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Jansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 76th minute Benjamin Jansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gláuber de Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gláuber de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cícero Teles, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After some careless play in the AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ defense, Cícero Teles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gláuber de Queirós. The AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gláuber de Queirós should have stopped the shot.
