The referee showed Viggo Berggren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Salem Gunners BK's Viggo Berggren got a free kick in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cícero Teles in the 28th minute of play forced Olímpico Blumenau FC's goalkeeper Caco Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frederico Palmeira to make the kick off. Alex Haraldsson hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cícero Teles in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Caco Furlan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Salem Gunners BK's Cícero Teles in the 85th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Caco Furlan was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Olímpico Blumenau FC through an amazing save. Olímpico Blumenau FC's Caco Furlan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Olímpico Blumenau FC from getting a goal against them. Caco Furlan made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Frederico Palmeira sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded Salem Gunners BK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Olímpico Blumenau FC.
