The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinaldo França in the 3rd minute of play forced Olímpico Blumenau FC's goalkeeper Caco Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caco Furlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinaldo França, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reinaldo França struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Caco Furlan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ. After a rather tough play, Olímpico Blumenau FC's Mário de Amaral got a free kick in the 15th minute. After having played for 16 minutes, Reinaldo França managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reinaldo França was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angelo Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gláuber de Queirós having to interfere. After 23 minutes, Kauan Cabral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ and the Olímpico Blumenau FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Kauan Cabral hit a great ball. In the 28th minute Reinaldo França shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caco Furlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reinaldo França in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caco Furlan saved Olímpico Blumenau FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Olímpico Blumenau FC's Mário de Amaral got a free kick in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Reinaldo França had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Caco Furlan. Olímpico Blumenau FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reinaldo França was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 35 minutes into the match, AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's Reinaldo França sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Caco Furlan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Reinaldo França recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 47 played minutes Olímpico Blumenau FC got a freekick which was hit by Gil Lira. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Reinaldo França received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Caco Furlan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th match minute, AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reinaldo França to maneuver through the defense. After 58 minutes of play, AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's Reinaldo França made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Caco Furlan was left in no man's land by his defense there! 62 minutes into the game, Dedê Aguiar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Olímpico Blumenau FC the free kick. 61 minutes into the game, one of AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gláuber de Queirós had in the 63rdth minute some difficulties stopping Júnior Massa's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Caco Furlan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kauan Cabral in the 65th minute. A collision led to Olímpico Blumenau FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Mário de Amaral hit a great ball. In the 70th match minute, Olímpico Blumenau FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glauco Vander to maneuver through the defense. If Reinaldo França had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinaldo França in the 72nd minute of play forced Olímpico Blumenau FC's goalkeeper Caco Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caco Furlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinaldo França, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Mário de Amaral charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mário de Amaral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mário de Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Reinaldo França sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reinaldo França blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Caco Furlan having to make a save. After a rather tough play, AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's Danilo Bastos got a free kick in the 97th minute.
