In the 7th minute, Edmundo London hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the game, Pogoń Stawiszyn's Zula Cytrynski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fidel Prieto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Pogoń Stawiszyn's Damian Jekot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Pogoń Stawiszyn from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Epifanio Alabern got free with Damian Jekot in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 19 minutes Vodka Stars 1949's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zula Cytrynski who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Krzysztof Kochanowski managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Zula Cytrynski kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Damian Jekot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Curcio Alonso in the 25th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Pogoń Stawiszyn's goalkeeper Damian Jekot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Prometeo Perpiñán. After 34 played minutes Vodka Stars 1949 got a freekick which was hit by Sócrates Primavera. Fidel Prieto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ksawery Pilsudski's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Tiburcio Amorebieta managed to get in a good position for a shot. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ksawery Pilsudski was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Pogoń Stawiszyn's Zula Cytrynski seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Zula Cytrynski the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Pogoń Stawiszyn protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Zula Cytrynski had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 54 minutes into the game, one of Pogoń Stawiszyn:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prometeo Perpiñán in the 60th minute of play forced Pogoń Stawiszyn's goalkeeper Damian Jekot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Vodka Stars 1949's Fran Cartagena got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Damian Jekot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prometeo Perpiñán, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damian Jekot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiburcio Amorebieta, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Pogoń Stawiszyn's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Alabern came free, but Damian Jekot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Tiburcio Amorebieta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Vodka Stars 1949's zone, Ksawery Pilsudski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fidel Prieto came out of the goal and Ksawery Pilsudski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vodka Stars 1949's Fidel Prieto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Vodka Stars 1949 from getting a goal against them. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vodka Stars 1949's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Roland Ranowiecki was slow to take the kick. During this time Pogoń Stawiszyn's players had a chance to rest. Pogoń Stawiszyn's Roland Ranowiecki was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fidel Prieto in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Damian Jekot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Curcio Alonso in the 87th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Tiburcio Amorebieta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Damian Jekot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 96th minute Prometeo Perpiñán shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Jekot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wojciech Szel charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wojciech Szel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Wojciech Szel hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Vodka Stars 1949's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
