Fidel Prieto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trần Ritchell in the 17th minute of play. Thorvald Mansel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Curcio Alonso in the 20th minute of play forced FC Dalin's goalkeeper Hoàng Nghiêm-Minh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Curcio Alonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hoàng Nghiêm-Minh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, FC Dalin's goal looked a bit too open when Curcio Alonso came free, but Hoàng Nghiêm-Minh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Vodka Stars 1949's goalkeeper Fidel Prieto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thorvald Mansel. Thanks to some nice moves Thorvald Mansel could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Fidel Prieto however easily saved by the left post. Fran Cartagena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Hoàng Nghiêm-Minh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thorvald Mansel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Fidel Prieto made a huge save. In the 37th minute, Thorvald Mansel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thorvald Mansel got free with Fidel Prieto in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th minute of the match Telmo Baiano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fidel Prieto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thorvald Mansel to strike the kick off in the second half. Fidel Prieto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thorvald Mansel in the 52nd minute of play. Trần Ritchell scored 1-2 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fidel Prieto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 94 minutes into the game, Thorvald Mansel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Fidel Prieto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
