With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cleto Papo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cleto Papo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaudencio Dodorol in the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Augusto Atarratze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cleto Papo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Rincon in the 9th minute of play. Patricio Esdras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvestre Gimenez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vilo Futbol Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Augusto Atarratze scored to the left of an out of position Patricio Esdras, making the score, 1-0. In the 20th minute Hugo Olo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleto Papo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 minutes of play, StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's Augusto Atarratze made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patricio Esdras was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aldo Ekhi lost his temper 32 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 32nd match minute, StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Ekhi to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see Vilo Futbol Club's Luciano Osorio in action when he in the 34th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 38 minutes into the game, Freddy Rincon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Cleto Papo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jaime Luken hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute Gaudencio Dodorol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleto Papo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 minutes StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hugo Olo who took care of the corner kick. Elias Ostadar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Patricio Esdras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Freddy Rincon made a kick off. Lucio Peio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Patricio Esdras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Roberto Tarantini fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vilo Futbol Club's protests and gave Roberto Tarantini a yellow card for diving instead. Roberto Tarantini kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Cleto Papo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Rincon in the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Rincon in the 59th minute of play forced StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's goalkeeper Cleto Papo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Elias Ostadar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cleto Papo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Rincon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elias Ostadar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucio Peio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Esdras having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Jaime Luken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Ostadar in the 88th minute of play forced Vilo Futbol Club's goalkeeper Patricio Esdras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Freddy Rincon got free with Cleto Papo in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vilo Futbol Club had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
