The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Chudomir Múdrov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabio Betadur was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Dragan Hristozov kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Edelmiro Paskal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chudomir Múdrov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anko Gebrev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Leocadio in the 54th minute of play. Dido Dereliev hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute of the match Edelmiro Paskal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anko Gebrev showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fabio Betadur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marin Nikolkov in the 72nd minute. Maritza's Anko Gebrev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Leocadio in the 86th minute of play. Dragan Hristozov was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 89 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute, one of Maritza:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Maritza. In the 91st minute there was a penalty for LA DEL MONO. Edelmiro Paskal stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Anko Gebrev. 5-0. In the 95th minute, Humberto Leocadio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LA DEL MONO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. LA DEL MONO's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
