Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Diego Forlan made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 3 minutes, Glenn Hysén managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GrassNuts FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Glenn Hysén was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 5 minutes of play, Birmingham Railers FC's Betão Esteves made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgar Lönn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Glenn Hysén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Rafael Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Gonçalo Monteiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgar Lönn was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. If Glenn Hysén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Betão Esteves put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Edgar Lönn. Edgar Lönn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Betão Esteves in the 20th minute of the match. Don Corleone's late challenge caught a Birmingham Railers FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Don Corleone helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th match minute, GrassNuts FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Don Corleone to maneuver through the defense. Betão Esteves took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edgar Lönn. GrassNuts FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, GrassNuts FC's Kaj Josefsson got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the game, Diego Forlan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Edgar Lönn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 28 minutes, Betão Esteves made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. GrassNuts FC's Edgar Lönn tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 32nd minute, Gonçalo Monteiro made a precise shot to the right of Edgar Lönn. GrassNuts FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Edgar Lönn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Forlan in the 34th minute of the match. GrassNuts FC's Edgar Lönn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaká Bastos in the 36th minute of play. A collision led to GrassNuts FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Kaj Josefsson hit a great ball. Pablo Maia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Gonçalo Monteiro took a quick shot and it went in 7-0 without a chance for Edgar Lönn to make any attempt to save it. 42 minutes into the game, Betão Esteves recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edgar Lönn. Betão Esteves showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 8-0. After 47 minutes, Kaj Josefsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GrassNuts FC and the Birmingham Railers FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th minute, Kaj Josefsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 8-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kenneth Vennersten was the one to do the kick off. Kaká Bastos scored 9-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgar Lönn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 56 minutes into the match, Betão Esteves notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of GrassNuts FC's Edgar Lönn. Edgar Lönn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Kaká Bastos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Birmingham Railers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kaká Bastos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgar Lönn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dario Pereyra's late challenge caught a GrassNuts FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Dario Pereyra hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, Kaká Bastos notched a goal, 13-0, to the right of GrassNuts FC's Edgar Lönn. Edgar Lönn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jeremie Frimpong hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Betão Esteves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgar Lönn was frozen by the shot and now it was 14-0. GrassNuts FC's Edgar Lönn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaká Bastos in the 80th minute of play. Edgar Lönn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Monteiro in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, GrassNuts FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Forlan came free, but Edgar Lönn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Lönn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonçalo Monteiro in the 85th minute of the match. Edgar Lönn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betão Esteves in the 86th minute of play. Edgar Lönn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaká Bastos, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Betão Esteves notched a goal, 15-0, to the right of GrassNuts FC's Edgar Lönn. Edgar Lönn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 95 minutes, Glenn Hysén mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GrassNuts FC and the Birmingham Railers FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Birmingham Railers FC booed when GrassNuts FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Glenn Hysén didn't get a good kick on the ball. 98 minutes into the match, Diego Forlan notched a goal, 16-0, to the right of GrassNuts FC's Edgar Lönn. Edgar Lönn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Birmingham Railers FC fully deserved thier win.
