Gert Cales went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on MK Investments's corner Gert Cales fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rodrigo Itzaina quite easily take care of the ball. Leonel Espiridion's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Peter Oldenborger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonel Espiridion stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. MK Investments's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgar Plaski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Itzaina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. RÚSTICOS F.C's Rodrigo Itzaina proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save RÚSTICOS F.C from getting a goal against them. Peter Oldenborger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Espiridion in the 95th minute of play. MK Investments's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
