The crowd rose to their feet as Luiz Fernando Botelho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ademir Tavares. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Thierry Henri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 10 played minutes Joinville United - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Fred de Queirós. 15 minutes into the match, Marcel Santos notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Joinville United - FSCMZ's Cauan Arce. Cauan Arce was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Maicon Penha hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the game, Elivélton Nóbrega recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ademir Tavares. Elivélton Nóbrega showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. Ademir Tavares made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Elivélton Nóbrega sent off a good shot on target. Joinville United - FSCMZ's Cauan Arce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcel Santos in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of Joinville United - FSCMZ booed when ATLÉTICO PAULISTA - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ademir Aparecido didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, ATLÉTICO PAULISTA - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fernando Botelho came free, but Ademir Tavares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Paulo Valle in the 97th minute of play forced Joinville United - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Cauan Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cauan Arce stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Paulo Valle's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ATLÉTICO PAULISTA - CIMZ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
