A collision led to Toutourouki f.c. getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Demis Thanos hit a great ball. Tolis Mantouvalos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waclaw Poremba, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vrasidas Liouras in the 32nd minute of play forced MK Investments's goalkeeper Peter Oldenborger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half MK Investments were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The supporters of Toutourouki f.c. booed when MK Investments was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmie Cai didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 91 minutes, Vrasidas Liouras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Toutourouki f.c.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Vrasidas Liouras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 94 played minutes MK Investments got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Plaski.
