The tension between the Toutourouki f.c. and the ATLÉTICO PAULISTA - CIMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of ATLÉTICO PAULISTA - CIMZ booed when Toutourouki f.c. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonidas Lithopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee gave Leonidas Lithopoulos a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 32nd minute, Leonidas Lithopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vrasidas Liouras might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Duarte Leão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vrasidas Liouras ran back to his position shaking his head. Duarte Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vrasidas Liouras in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute Vrasidas Liouras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toutourouki f.c. were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after ATLÉTICO PAULISTA - CIMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line.
