Wieslaw Dulka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Salamon, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. When Izydor Michnik fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PTC Pabianice's protests and gave Izydor Michnik a yellow card for diving instead. Alzaga FC made a substitution. Humberto Manilan replaced Salvador Quirze. In the 17th match minute, PTC Pabianice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Izydor Michnik to maneuver through the defense. After 19 minutes of play, Alzaga FC's Humberto Manilan made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
