Waldir Valladares helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Futuros FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Waldir Valladares hit a great ball. Raúl Nóbrega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kjell Danielsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th match minute, The Shadows was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjell Danielsson to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, The Shadows's Hubert Björkkvist got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute of the match Adilson Toledo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Östen Röd showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Sune Kvalfält was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Shadows's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Futuros FC the free kick. After 16 played minutes The Shadows got a freekick which was hit by Sune Kvalfält. In the 21st match minute, The Shadows was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjell Danielsson to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, The Shadows's goalkeeper Östen Röd had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Papi Hamburger. Östen Röd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Salgado in the 31st minute of the match. Edson Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Östen Röd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnaldo Salgado made a kick off. Futuros FC's Raúl Nóbrega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elliott Klemensson in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to The Shadows getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Robin Bergstedt hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edson Sousa in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Östen Röd prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Futuros FC's Pedro Augusto Baptista got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 73rd minute of the match, Ludwig Bock tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Raúl Nóbrega saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 80th match minute, Futuros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juarês Marinho to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Futuros FC's goalkeeper Raúl Nóbrega, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Futuros FC booed when The Shadows was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sune Kvalfält didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th match minute, Futuros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Papi Hamburger to maneuver through the defense. André Hellsing, 95 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. The Shadows had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
