Spectators: 155 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fernando Lucas started the match with the kick off. Independente FC's Marcelo Gröhe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franco Mariano in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th match minute, Independente FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Lucas to maneuver through the defense. Marcelo Gröhe came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Gladiator FC's Beppe Rivera. But to his dismay, Beppe Rivera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A hard shot 10 in the game by Nilson Duarte from a close distance when the talented Aurelio Epifani managed to make a qualified save. Gladiator FC's players were relieved. 11 minutes into the match, Independente FC's Carlos Fernando de Toledo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aurelio Epifani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Independente FC's Wiliam Campidelis got a free kick in the 12th minute. Marcelo Gröhe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Barone, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Aurelio Epifani made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Raí Prestes sent off a good shot on target. Edinho Secco kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Franco Mariano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gladiator FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Franco Mariano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Gröhe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 22 minutes into the match, Gladiator FC's goalkeeper Aurelio Epifani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wiliam Campidelis. Gladiator FC's Aurelio Epifani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raí Prestes in the 23rd minute of play. Gladiator FC's Aurelio Epifani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Gladiator FC from getting a goal against them. Fernando Lucas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Aurelio Epifani made a huge save. 31 minutes into the match, Gladiator FC's goalkeeper Aurelio Epifani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Lucas. After a rather tough play, Gladiator FC's Donato Barone got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 36 minutes into the match, Nilson Duarte dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aurelio Epifani, 1-1. Aurelio Epifani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernando Lucas in the 38th minute. After 42 minutes, Fedele Nardi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gladiator FC and the Independente FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fedele Nardi kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. 2-1 became the score in the 44th minute when Fernando Lucas elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Nilson Duarte fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Aurelio Epifani, passed just outside the right post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fedele Nardi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Fernando Lucas made a precise shot to the right of Aurelio Epifani. Gladiator FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Fabiano Tatangelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gladiator FC's Angelo Marchegiani was substituted for Antonello Cipriani. Fernando Lucas scored 4-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aurelio Epifani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nilson Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aurelio Epifani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raí Prestes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurelio Epifani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Lucas in the 70th minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Joaquim Eanes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aurelio Epifani. Gladiator FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joaquim Eanes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. In the 79th minute Independente FC were awarded a corner. Nilson Duarte went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Independente FC's Nilson Duarte to fire away a dangerous shot which Aurelio Epifani despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Fernando Lucas scored 6-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aurelio Epifani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wiliam Campidelis might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aurelio Epifani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wiliam Campidelis ran back to his position shaking his head. Independente FC's Marcelo Gröhe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fedele Nardi in the 92nd minute of play. Edinho Secco's late challenge caught a Gladiator FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edinho Secco helped the player get up and apologised. Edinho Secco hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. During the 95th minute of the match Fedele Nardi completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Fedele Nardi a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Independente FC had won after a very even match.
