Union Madereros's Luis Swain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jun Osborne in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Dep. Union Madereros's goalkeeper Luis Swain, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 16th match minute, C.A.M.P was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cirilo Botello to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Club Dep. Union Madereros's Lorenzo Bakar tried to score from far away in the 16th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Şehzade Afgan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luis Swain. Club Dep. Union Madereros's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Şehzade Afgan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Luis Swain stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Şehzade Afgan's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Colas in the 25th minute of play forced C.A.M.P's goalkeeper Jeremias Vedillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Swain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şehzade Afgan in the 29th minute of the match. Jeremias Vedillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucas Abella in the 30th minute. Luis Swain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jun Osborne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 33 played minutes C.A.M.P got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Macias. With an all-out effort, Club Dep. Union Madereros's Jeremias Vedillo threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cornelio Colas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 43 minutes into the game, Şehzade Afgan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Luis Swain was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Club Dep. Union Madereros made a substitution. Fabio Dimo replaced Cornelio Colas. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jun Osborne was the one to do the kick off. When Club Dep. Union Madereros's Fabio Dimo in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
