The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Ullún's Hector Medardo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Walme Ortega narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anastasio Etxekopar charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anastasio Etxekopar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 5th match minute, Ullún was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Etxekopar to maneuver through the defense. CD Boiro's John Palomar got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Ullún's Fernando Clis got a free kick in the 8th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Steve Mur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CD Boiro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ullún the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 10th minute of the game. One of CD Boiro:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ullún:s goal. Walme Ortega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Medardo in the 15th minute of play. John Palomar kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Walme Ortega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Clis, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Marcos Acosta charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcos Acosta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes, Ullún's Anastasio Etxekopar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Walme Ortega came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ullún reached it. Walme Ortega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Medardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th match minute, CD Boiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilixo Verdeja to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Fernando Clis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Walme Ortega. CD Boiro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernando Clis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When Ullún's Fernando Clis in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CD Boiro's goalie prevented a goal. Walme Ortega came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Ullún's Hector Medardo. But to his dismay, Hector Medardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sidney Pontes made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Clis got free with Walme Ortega in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Esteban Salamon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Walme Ortega came out and tried to block the shot, but Esteban Salamon slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 65th minute. Hector Medardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernando Clis in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walme Ortega saved CD Boiro from getting behind. Walme Ortega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Clis in the 75th minute of the match. Walme Ortega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Clis in the 78th minute of play. Walme Ortega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Clis, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. With a little luck, CD Boiro's Walme Ortega got control of the ball when Santiago Efren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ullún's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
