Achilleas Mavilis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakob Ondrejček, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th minute Swindon Sweden FF were awarded a corner. Sten Jespersson went to the cornerflag to take it. Maxen Widenborg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute of the match Swindon Sweden FF got a corner. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sten Jespersson ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Swindon Sweden FF's Sten Jespersson to fire away a dangerous shot which Achilleas Mavilis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jakob Ondrejček had several of the ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 16 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Achilleas Mavilis as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 20 minutes Swindon Sweden FF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Theocharis Aggellakis who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Theocharis Aggellakis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Swindon Sweden FF's Jens-Åke Malmberg did a great save. Jakob Ondrejček had several of the ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 23 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Achilleas Mavilis as he didn't even see the shot coming. Per-Erik Stål sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Achilleas Mavilis came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Swindon Sweden FF's Jakob Ondrejček. But to his dismay, Jakob Ondrejček quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Jens-Åke Malmberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theofilos Kaplanopoulos in the 33rd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Theofilos Kaplanopoulos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jens-Åke Malmberg. Swindon Sweden FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Theofilos Kaplanopoulos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 39th minute Giorgos Keris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Åke Malmberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jens-Åke Malmberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giorgos Keris, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute, Jakob Ondrejček left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Swindon Sweden FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Thodoris Negris's late challenge caught a Swindon Sweden FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thodoris Negris helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Thodoris Negris hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Theofilos Kaplanopoulos was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maxen Widenborg in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Achilleas Mavilis saved ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ from getting behind. Swindon Sweden FF's Jens-Åke Malmberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Swindon Sweden FF from getting a goal against them. Swindon Sweden FF's Kristoffer Vollander suffered a sore foot after 65 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Koulis Kourdos charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Koulis Kourdos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Swindon Sweden FF booed when ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Koulis Kourdos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jakob Ondrejček sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Giorgos Keris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jace Hunter kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Giorgos Keris kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jens-Åke Malmberg. That made the score 4-2 in the 83 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Giorgos Keris managed to get in a good position for a shot. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's supporters rose to their feet, but Giorgos Keris was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jens-Åke Malmberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giorgos Keris got free with Jens-Åke Malmberg in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee ended the match the Swindon Sweden FF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
