The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Honorio Dimas helped the player get up and apologised. Honorio Dimas hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After 13 played minutes Resistencia got a freekick which was hit by Candido Gorbea. Severino Aznar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeo Felo in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Quentin in the 18th minute of play forced Resistencia's goalkeeper Samuel Gartzea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severino Aznar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tadeo Felo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 21 minute of play. In the 31st play minute Tadeo Felo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Severino Aznar. 4-0. Samuel Gartzea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Caradaro in the 37th minute of play. Samuel Gartzea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigio Caradaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damaso Locaio to make the kick off.
