An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Rik in the 15th minute of play forced Alijilán returns's goalkeeper Roque Clementi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Hurboc's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Iruinea came free, but Jacinto Tuste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saul Iruinea to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Hurboc booed when Alijilán returns was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Olayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Carlos Leheren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alijilán returns's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Leheren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roque Clementi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rolando Olayo's late challenge caught a Hurboc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rolando Olayo helped the player get up and apologised. Saul Iruinea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Jacinto Tuste tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cesar Ibanez hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
