The referee ignored Alijilán returns's protests and gave Rolando Olayo a yellow card for diving instead. Rolando Olayo hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Fernando Eladio from long distance, 10 minutes into the match, got Roque Clementi's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Saul Iruinea took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roque Gomez. Roque Gomez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, Wang Cheng Xiang notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Sporting Club Victoria's Roque Gomez. Roque Clementi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albano Aurken in the 22nd minute of play. Saul Iruinea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roque Gomez having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Saul Iruinea made a precise shot to the right of Roque Gomez. Sporting Club Victoria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Sporting Club Victoria's Roque Gomez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Iruinea in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Aurken in the 42nd minute of play forced Alijilán returns's goalkeeper Roque Clementi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felipe Galindo during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th minute, Felipe Galindo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 46 minutes, Saul Iruinea made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Sporting Club Victoria's Roque Gomez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The crowd rose to their feet as Wang Cheng Xiang kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roque Gomez. That made the score 0-6 in the 56 minute of play. Saul Iruinea's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Roque Gomez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Roque Clementi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Eladio in the 61st minute of play. The supporters of Sporting Club Victoria booed when Alijilán returns was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Olayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Alijilán returns's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Abascal came free, but Roque Clementi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramón Abila charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramón Abila the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sporting Club Victoria booed when Alijilán returns was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramón Abila didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Saul Iruinea dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Roque Gomez, 0-8. Thanks to some nice moves Wang Cheng Xiang could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Roque Gomez however easily saved by the left post. Roque Gomez was a little too slow when Saul Iruinea got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 0-9. When the match was over Alijilán returns could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sporting Club Victoria throughout the match.
