Primo Portier made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Afonsinho Paiva sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Premier FC defense, Fulvio Vida kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zé Paulo Bezerra. The Premier FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zé Paulo Bezerra should have stopped the shot. Zé Paulo Bezerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulvio Vida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Premier FC's Zé Paulo Bezerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulvio Vida in the 15th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Fulvio Vida's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zé Paulo Bezerra was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. In the 21st minute Beppe Tellini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Paulo Bezerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner was taken by Claudio Lombardi in the 28th minute. Zé Paulo Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Benetti in the 36th minute of play. A collision led to Premier FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Egídio Garcia hit a great ball. When Claudio Lombardi came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Urbs LC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudio Lombardi couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute, Afonsinho Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th match minute, Urbs LC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferruccio Riccardi to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The supporters of Urbs LC booed when Premier FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aílton de Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. Urbs LC made a substitution. Cristoforo Tondi replaced Emilio Pallotta. In the 62nd match minute, Premier FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aílton de Queirós to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute of the match Claudio Lombardi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zé Paulo Bezerra showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Premier FC's Egídio Garcia got a free kick in the 65th minute. Urbs LC's Alexander Violento was substituted for Beppe Tellini. The supporters of Urbs LC booed when Premier FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egídio Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulvio Vida in the 67th minute of play forced Premier FC's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 minutes of play, Urbs LC's Fulvio Vida made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé Paulo Bezerra was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Premier FC's Dadá da Costa in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Urbs LC's goalie prevented a goal. After 74 minutes, Fulvio Vida made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Premier FC's Zé Paulo Bezerra tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fulvio Vida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zé Paulo Bezerra had great luck who in the 82ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Fulvio Vida from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Zé Paulo Bezerra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fulvio Vida's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fulvio Vida in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Paulo Bezerra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Premier FC's Zé Paulo Bezerra got control of the ball when Fulvio Vida tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zé Paulo Bezerra was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Claudio Lombardi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 90 minute of play. Luís Eduardo Capixaba kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the match was over Urbs LC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Premier FC throughout the match.
