In the 15th minute of the match Dumitru Tolea sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Venancio Kaiet skillfully saved the ball. After 15 played minutes AFTER GYM FC got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Aurken. Thanks to some nice moves Cornel Amandiței could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Venancio Kaiet however easily saved by the left post. Nemesio Vellito blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Albert Muscaș having to make a save. Cornel Amandiței could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Venancio Kaiet made a huge save. In the 21st minute, Virgil Vulturar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 22 played minutes, AFTER GYM FC's Anacleto Walme shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Albert Muscaș came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AFTER GYM FC reached it. After a rather tough play, Dark Prophets's Mihăiţă Gheție got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 26th minute, Dark Prophets's Mihăiţă Gheție ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Venancio Kaiet. Venancio Kaiet yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 29th minute Ovidiu Tomulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Kaiet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Venancio Kaiet managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Dark Prophets's Cornel Amandiței fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ovidiu Tomulescu to make the kick off. When Virgil Vulturar fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dark Prophets's protests and gave Virgil Vulturar a yellow card for diving instead. After 52 played minutes Dark Prophets got a freekick which was hit by Virgil Vulturar. After 56 minutes, Mihăiţă Gheție mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dark Prophets and the AFTER GYM FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mihăiţă Gheție hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 60th match minute, AFTER GYM FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erubiel Sanson to maneuver through the defense. If Cornel Amandiței had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Anastasio Tercero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Nemesio Vellito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Albert Muscaș was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baldomiro Jokin got free with Albert Muscaș in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 72 minutes into the match, AFTER GYM FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cornel Amandiței came free, but Venancio Kaiet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venancio Kaiet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidiu Tomulescu in the 75th minute of the match. The supporters of Dark Prophets booed when AFTER GYM FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Michael didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cornel Amandiței fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Kaiet having to interfere. AFTER GYM FC's Baldomiro Jokin got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dark Prophets's Albert Muscaș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Vellito in the 92nd minute of play. Dark Prophets's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Nemesio Vellito 93 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-4.
