Fernan Cortez was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Formentera getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Justino Hondo hit a great ball. German Jaen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Seyhan Atlıhan. Formentera's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Formentera booed when Olds School Pepo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Cortez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Ignatius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Fernan Cortez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the game, Hernan Chus threw the ball into play from the sideline. Olds School Pepo's Celso Bras quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Fernan Cortez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 龙建烨 in the 23rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gualterio Bonadona in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Seyhan Atlıhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Formentera booed when Olds School Pepo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Gaitan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernan Cortez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 龙建烨's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. 龙建烨 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Fernan Cortez made a huge save. Formentera's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Justino Hondo in the 36th minute. A nice corner shot did that Justino Hondo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fernan Cortez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Fernan Cortez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Benvide in the 42nd minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilfredo Benvide stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wilfredo Benvide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernan Cortez having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Olds School Pepo's German Jaen got a free kick in the 56th minute. When German Jaen fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olds School Pepo's protests and gave German Jaen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st match minute, Olds School Pepo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by German Jaen to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, German Jaen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernan Cortez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Erik Lönn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Erik Lönn in the 66th minute of play forced Olds School Pepo's goalkeeper Fernan Cortez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olds School Pepo's Fernan Cortez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 龙建烨 in the 68th minute of play. Celso Bras kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. The Formentera fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 85th match minute, Formentera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silverio Napier to maneuver through the defense. Fernan Cortez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 龙建烨, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, 龙建烨 put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fernan Cortez. 95 minutes into the match, Jan-Erik Lönn had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernan Cortez. Olds School Pepo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan-Erik Lönn was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Formentera walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
