The audience thought a goal was coming when Urbano Curcio got free with Simon Maseda in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leones FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Robert Christoffersson scored to the left of an out of position Simon Maseda, making the score, 4-0. Lisandro Ferrer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Simon Maseda made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urbano Curcio in the 29th minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Simon Maseda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
