After some careless play in the Leones FC defense, Slavoljub Bukovec kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lugo Manes. The Leones FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lugo Manes should have stopped the shot. If Josip Ilič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zvonko Medved took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lugo Manes. Lugo Manes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Slavoljub Bukovec in the 14th minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Lugo Manes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lugo Manes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jožek Puš in the 15th minute of play. Borut Holcman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Lugo Manes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zvonko Medved scored 0-3 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lugo Manes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of NK FOLKROLA booed when Leones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicollao Ovies didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Borut Holcman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Josip Ilič fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NK FOLKROLA's protests and gave Josip Ilič a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to NK FOLKROLA getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Josip Ilič hit a great ball. Josip Ilič scored 0-4 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lugo Manes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 35th minute Borut Holcman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lugo Manes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lugo Manes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zvonko Medved, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 41 minutes on the clock, Inigo Baños commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, Leones FC's Inigo Baños got a free kick in the 42nd minute. If Josip Ilič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lugo Manes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Slavoljub Bukovec went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. After the first half NK FOLKROLA were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hondo Linares to strike the kick off in the second half. NK FOLKROLA's Slavoljub Bukovec got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lugo Manes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zvonko Medved went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. With an all-out effort, NK FOLKROLA's Lugo Manes threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Slavoljub Bukovec, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zvonko Medved got free with Lugo Manes in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 66 minutes into the match, Zvonko Medved notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Leones FC's Lugo Manes. Lugo Manes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. NK FOLKROLA's Zvonko Medved got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Borut Holcman fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Slavoljub Bukovec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lugo Manes having to interfere. Lugo Manes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zvonko Medved in the 76th minute of play. After some careless play in the Leones FC defense, Klaudij Kuder kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lugo Manes. The Leones FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lugo Manes should have stopped the shot. Josip Ilič could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Lugo Manes made a huge save. Crescencio Mendiguren made in the 93rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by NK FOLKROLA's Slavoljub Bukovec. 95 minutes into the game, Jožek Puš cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Lugo Manes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. NK FOLKROLA played a much better game than Leones FC and deserved their victory. The Leones FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
