The ForestFire fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reed Molina should have stopped the shot. When Cafer Sanbay came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Yaman Academy® fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cafer Sanbay couldn't finish the play. Reed Molina made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Batuğ Resai sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Batuğ Resai could shoot a difficult shot in the 46th minute, which Reed Molina however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, ForestFire's Duncan Nichols got a free kick in the 46th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tad Sierra to make the kick off. Artemio Ixaka hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. The supporters of ForestFire booed when Yaman Academy® was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Patxi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Yaman Academy®'s goal looked a bit too open when Tad Sierra came free, but Aristides Orzaize reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
