The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 16 minutes into the match, Adelaide's goal looked a bit too open when Jerzy Wieczorek came free, but Alberto Ridding reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Ridding made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Szymon Czyž in the 20th minute of play. In the 24th match minute, Adelaide was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kirby Houldsworth to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Seniorita Varga getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Szymon Czyž hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monico Bellucci in the 28th minute of play forced Adelaide's goalkeeper Alberto Ridding to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bern Norman during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 32 minutes into the match, Szymon Czyž notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Adelaide's Alberto Ridding. Alberto Ridding was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 36 minutes into the match, Szymon Czyž had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alberto Ridding. Adelaide's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Szymon Czyž was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The supporters of Adelaide booed when Seniorita Varga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Napoleon Sowa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Adelaide's Douglas Christian got a free kick in the 41st minute. 43 minutes into the game, Seniorita Varga's Monico Bellucci nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alberto Ridding made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. 47 minutes into the match, Adelaide's goal looked a bit too open when Monico Bellucci came free, but Alberto Ridding reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Douglas Christian to make the kick off. Alberto Ridding showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Szymon Czyž in the 50th minute of the match. Alberto Ridding stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Monico Bellucci's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Szymon Czyž's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alberto Ridding read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Szymon Czyž fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Ridding having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Bern Norman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Adelaide's Alberto Ridding got control of the ball when Monico Bellucci tried to sneak it across the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Adelaide's goalkeeper Alberto Ridding had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Monico Bellucci. The crowd rose to their feet as Seniorita Varga's Szymon Czyž slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alberto Ridding. That made the score 0-5 after 63 minutes of play. Alberto Ridding showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Szymon Czyž in the 67th minute of the match. Adelaide's Alberto Ridding proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Adelaide from getting a goal against them. Alberto Ridding stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Monico Bellucci's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Adelaide's goalkeeper Alberto Ridding, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Alberto Ridding successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 79 minutes into the match, Seniorita Varga's Monico Bellucci sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alberto Ridding narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 81 minutes, Jerzy Wieczorek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Seniorita Varga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jerzy Wieczorek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alberto Ridding didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Monico Bellucci went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Alberto Ridding made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Monico Bellucci sent off a good shot on target. The Seniorita Varga fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Seniorita Varga's Monico Bellucci looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the final whistle sounded Seniorita Varga left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Adelaide.
