AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's Alexander Quinnell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Fraser in the 3rd minute of play. Aaron Aylwin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Alberto Ridding tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gregg Beer fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's protests and gave Gregg Beer a yellow card for diving instead. After 8 played minutes Adelaide got a freekick which was hit by Douglas Christian. 10 minutes into the game, Lewis Laycock recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alberto Ridding. Lewis Laycock showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's Aron Serena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alberto Ridding narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 14 minutes, Corder Kiel made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Adelaide's Alberto Ridding tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Alberto Ridding took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lewis Laycock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Ridding made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lewis Laycock in the 22nd minute of play. Douglas Christian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Corder Kiel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Alberto Ridding made a huge save. 28 minutes into the game, AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's Lewis Laycock nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alberto Ridding made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Alberto Ridding was a little too slow when Lewis Laycock got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 4-0. When Lewis Laycock in the 34th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Alberto Ridding kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 5-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. If Gregg Beer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Corder Kiel got free with Alberto Ridding in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alberto Ridding was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Corder Kiel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-0 in the 38 minute of play. Alberto Ridding took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lewis Laycock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Corder Kiel put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Alberto Ridding. After a rather tough play, AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's Gregg Beer got a free kick in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Douglas Christian made a kick off. Artie Mccarthy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Alberto Ridding tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corder Kiel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corder Kiel in the 56th minute of play forced Adelaide's goalkeeper Alberto Ridding to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Corder Kiel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alberto Ridding was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Alberto Ridding showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lewis Laycock, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 66 minutes into the game, when Edwardo Waters put in a rough tackle. In the 66th minute, one of Adelaide:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Adelaide. In the 68th minute there was a penalty for AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB. Corder Kiel stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alberto Ridding. 9-0. Alberto Ridding stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lewis Laycock's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Corder Kiel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Ridding having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Corder Kiel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alberto Ridding. Adelaide's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Corder Kiel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. Alberto Ridding took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Corder Kiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rdth minute of the game Corder Kiel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Adelaide's Alberto Ridding was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alberto Ridding took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lewis Laycock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the match, Lewis Laycock had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alberto Ridding. Adelaide's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lewis Laycock was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. Lewis Laycock scored 13-0 in the 98th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alberto Ridding, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB had played much better football throughout.
