But to his dismay, Lars Ivarsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Jesus Peli kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Aílton Cearense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Polentzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. F.C. Carmo De Kiev's Navarro Montoya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Teofilio in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by F.C. Carmo De Kiev's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arnaldo Inocente was slow to take the kick. During this time Deportivo David Mardel's players had a chance to rest. Enzo Polentzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aílton Cearense, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Enzo Polentzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aílton Cearense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Deportivo David Mardel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enzo Polentzi should have stopped the shot. Aílton Cearense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Enzo Polentzi made a huge save. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
