The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Copetonas AFC's Vinicio Walme slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of John Hedbom. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tre Starka's zone, Apolo Lizbeth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. John Hedbom came out of the goal and Apolo Lizbeth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vilhelm Kilberg kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of Copetonas AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tre Starka:s goal. Timoteo Lope recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Tre Starka's zone, Apolo Lizbeth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. John Hedbom came out of the goal and Apolo Lizbeth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Viggo Björck fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tre Starka's protests and gave Viggo Björck a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th match minute, Tre Starka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viggo Björck to maneuver through the defense. If Viggo Björck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. John Hedbom didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Timoteo Lope went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Tre Starka's Vilhelm Kilberg got a free kick in the 34th minute. Timoteo Lope received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. John Hedbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. John Hedbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinicio Walme in the 40th minute of play. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Olov Pilgren sped through Copetonas AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alejandro Gervaso. Olov Pilgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alejandro Gervaso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vinicio Walme to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Carl Henry hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Copetonas AFC's goalkeeper Alejandro Gervaso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 69 minutes into the game, Helge Alstedt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tre Starka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Copetonas AFC the free kick. In the 70th minute, Helge Alstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alejandro Gervaso made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Viggo Björck sent off a good shot on target. Olov Pilgren received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alejandro Gervaso came out and tried to block the shot, but Olov Pilgren slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 82nd minute. The supporters of Copetonas AFC booed when Tre Starka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klas Löfkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Tre Starka's Olov Pilgren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alejandro Gervaso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alejandro Gervaso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viggo Björck in the 91st minute. A collision led to Tre Starka getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Klas Löfkvist hit a great ball. John Hedbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Lizbeth in the 94th minute of the match.
