In the 2nd match minute, Blackjacks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt Nordgren to maneuver through the defense. 3 minutes into the match, Vivaldo Paes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sverker Sjöö, 1-0. Patrick Neiva did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Sverker Sjöö 8 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute Jacinto Paraíba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sverker Sjöö saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Coutinho might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sverker Sjöö. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelo Coutinho ran back to his position shaking his head. Sverker Sjöö didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patrick Neiva went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrick Neiva got free with Sverker Sjöö in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sverker Sjöö was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Vivaldo Paes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vivaldo Paes really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. After 38 played minutes Xapetuba Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Paraíba. Sverker Sjöö was a little too slow when Vivaldo Paes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 7-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elias Blomkvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Blackjacks's zone, Patrick Neiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sverker Sjöö came out of the goal and Patrick Neiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 53rd minute, Jacinto Paraíba left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Xapetuba Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. After a defensive mix-up in Blackjacks's zone, Jacinto Paraíba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sverker Sjöö came out of the goal and Jacinto Paraíba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sverker Sjöö made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Paraíba in the 61st minute of play. The supporters of Xapetuba Futebol Clube booed when Blackjacks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt Nordgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sverker Sjöö showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Neiva in the 71st minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Vivaldo Paes put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sverker Sjöö. Jacinto Paraíba took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sverker Sjöö. Sverker Sjöö dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. 79 minutes into the game, Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Marcelo Coutinho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sverker Sjöö made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. Blackjacks's Sverker Sjöö played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Paraíba in the 86th minute of play. Sverker Sjöö came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Jacinto Paraíba. But to his dismay, Jacinto Paraíba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. Sverker Sjöö showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Paraíba, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Elias Blomkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Tiaguinho da Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
