The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Venko Devenski notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Dacian Dudea. Dacian Dudea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 9th minute Stavri Drakev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dacian Dudea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dacian Dudea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venko Devenski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute of the match FC LEVSKI ОК got a corner. F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vasko Stepanov ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ilie Balaci who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Dorel Călin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Stavri Drakev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dacian Dudea having to interfere. In the 18th match minute, FC LEVSKI ОК was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Rea to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, FC LEVSKI ОК's Dorel Călin got control of the ball when Ilie Balaci tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dacian Dudea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venko Devenski in the 24th minute of the match. Dacian Dudea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venko Devenski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dorel Călin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ilie Balaci went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Dacian Dudea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venko Devenski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC LEVSKI ОК's Dorel Călin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save FC LEVSKI ОК from getting a goal against them. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Stavri Drakev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Dacian Dudea made a huge save. Ilie Balaci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Dorel Călin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute of the match, Stavri Drakev got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dacian Dudea was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to FC LEVSKI ОК getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Jo Evenstad hit a great ball. In the 64th match minute, FC LEVSKI ОК was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zheko Ananiev to maneuver through the defense. Dorel Călin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascal Grooss in the 65th minute of play. Vintilă Arieșan's late challenge caught a FC LEVSKI ОК's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vintilă Arieșan helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Vintilă Arieșan got a free kick in the 66th minute. After 70 minutes of play, F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Ilie Balaci made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dorel Călin was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 73 minutes, Ilie Balaci made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC LEVSKI ОК's Dorel Călin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 82 minutes into the game, Venko Devenski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dacian Dudea. Venko Devenski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. 87 minutes into the match, Ilie Balaci notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of FC LEVSKI ОК's Dorel Călin. Dorel Călin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Ilie Balaci got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cornel Tomulescu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 95 minutes into the match. After 96 played minutes F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- got a freekick which was hit by Cornel Tomulescu. Vasko Stepanov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
