Joel Bertol made a fantastic save in the 2nd minute, when Honorato Beltxe sent off a good shot on target. Shuspendemo were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Rayland FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Patricio Raebert took the corner. 5 minutes into the match, Ceferino Austin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joel Bertol, 1-0. Tiburcio Celipe kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Ximun Zaldos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardo Vasco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roger Bannister went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Ceferino Austin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Joel Bertol made a huge save. After 20 minutes, Primo Peramato mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rayland FC and the Shuspendemo players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Shuspendemo booed when Rayland FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primo Peramato didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Shuspendemo's Ildefonso Joey ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joel Bertol. Joel Bertol yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ceferino Austin got free with Joel Bertol in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After taking down the ball on Shuspendemo's corner Patricio Raebert fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Joel Bertol quite easily take care of the ball. Bernardo Vasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Endrick de Souza in the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Ceferino Austin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Shuspendemo's Bernardo Vasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Bannister in the 31st minute of play. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rayland FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Patricio Raebert was slow to take the kick. During this time Shuspendemo's players had a chance to rest. Ildefonso Joey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gonzalo Gabirel's late challenge caught a Rayland FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gonzalo Gabirel helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Shuspendemo's Gonzalo Gabirel got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After 43 minutes of play, Rayland FC's Roger Bannister made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernardo Vasco was left in no man's land by his defense there! 47 minutes into the match, Ximun Zaldos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernardo Vasco. Shuspendemo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ximun Zaldos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Shuspendemo's Edgardo Ticho was substituted for Eustaquio Totakoxe. After the first half Rayland FC were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ildefonso Joey was the one to do the kick off. Urbano Medero might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joel Bertol. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Urbano Medero ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 63 minutes, Honorato Beltxe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shuspendemo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorato Beltxe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Shuspendemo's Rodolfo Berasko was substituted for Ceferino Austin. In the 69thth minute of the game Rodolfo Berasko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rayland FC's Joel Bertol was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Bernardo Vasco successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Bernardo Vasco made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Ximun Zaldos sent off a good shot on target. In the 74th minute, Rayland FC's Teodoro Hernandez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. In the 81st minute of the match Shuspendemo got a corner. Rayland FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Patricio Raebert ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Urbano Medero heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Rayland FC's Joel Bertol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Berasko in the 84th minute of play. Roger Bannister took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardo Vasco. Bernardo Vasco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. 87 minutes into the game, Honorato Beltxe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Shuspendemo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rayland FC the free kick. In the 91st minute Honorato Beltxe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Bertol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Shuspendemo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rayland FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Rayland FC.
