Luan Soares's late challenge caught a GKS Milenium's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elivélton Aparecido made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, Cambridge Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murilo de Sousa to maneuver through the defense. In the 52ndth minute of the game Ryszard Rutkowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cambridge Esporte Clube's Juninho Urbano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Boguslaw Jastrowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute, Luís Paulo Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Ryszard Rutkowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. GKS Milenium's supporters rose to their feet, but Ryszard Rutkowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juninho Urbano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andrzej Gozdowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hílton Ortiz charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hílton Ortiz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. GKS Milenium's Edmund Solak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléber Rodrigues in the 78th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, GKS Milenium's goal looked a bit too open when Elivélton Aparecido came free, but Edmund Solak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ryszard Rutkowski came free with the goalkeeper in the 84th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Juninho Urbano could save by the left post. Filip Maziarz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juninho Urbano having to interfere. After a rather tough play, GKS Milenium's Boguslaw Jastrowicz got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 89th minute, Elivélton Aparecido sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and GKS Milenium's Edmund Solak didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Maziarz in the 91st minute of play forced Cambridge Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Juninho Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Cambridge Esporte Clube fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. GKS Milenium were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
