In the 4th minute Ricky Dacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betinho Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricky Dacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betinho Brodel having to interfere. Betinho Brodel made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Danilo Isusko sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Batista in the 12th minute of play forced Maricá FC's goalkeeper Betinho Brodel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ATE AFC's Nicolas Zapata got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ricky Dacio came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the ATE AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricky Dacio couldn't finish the play. Maricá FC's Betinho Brodel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Maricá FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, ATE AFC's Nicolas Zapata got a free kick in the 19th minute. ATE AFC's Ricky Dacio got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Betinho Brodel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricky Dacio, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Nicolas Zapata struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Betinho Brodel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ATE AFC. If Nicolas Zapata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Betinho Brodel came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by ATE AFC's Nicolas Zapata. But to his dismay, Nicolas Zapata quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Nicolas Zapata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricky Dacio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maricá FC's Betinho Brodel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Maricá FC from getting a goal against them. Betinho Brodel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ricky Dacio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 38 minute of play. After 47 played minutes Ricky Dacio rounded Maricá FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicolas Zapata to make the kick off. Betinho Brodel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ricky Dacio went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 57th minute, Nicolas Zapata got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 61 minutes of play, ATE AFC's Ricky Dacio made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Betinho Brodel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maricá FC's Betinho Brodel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Isusko in the 64th minute of play. The supporters of Maricá FC booed when ATE AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Isusko didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 68 played minutes Maricá FC got a freekick which was hit by Alan Britto. 71 minutes into the match, Ricky Dacio notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Maricá FC's Betinho Brodel. Betinho Brodel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Nicolas Zapata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the game, ATE AFC's Danilo Isusko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Betinho Brodel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Maricá FC's Betinho Brodel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricky Dacio in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Nicolas Zapata notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Maricá FC's Betinho Brodel. Betinho Brodel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
