The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Richard Torres during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Richard Torres hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. A hard shot 6 in the game by Jeff Van Haechten from a close distance when the talented Sebastião Garcia managed to make a qualified save. Elite™- FC Galácticos's players were relieved. Edgard Cavalcante scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diederik De Raemaekers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Josué Quintal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diederik De Raemaekers having to interfere. In the 15th minute Evert-Jan Lefevre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastião Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmondo Ruggieri, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Jeff Van Haechten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastião Garcia having to make a save. 29 minutes into the match, Elite™- FC Galácticos's goalkeeper Sebastião Garcia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeff Van Haechten. In the 30th match minute, Les Bistouquettes Bleues was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeff Van Haechten to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute of the match, Edmondo Ruggieri tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sebastião Garcia saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 36 minutes into the match, Les Bistouquettes Bleues's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Cavalcante came free, but Diederik De Raemaekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Jeff Van Haechten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastião Garcia. Elite™- FC Galácticos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeff Van Haechten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Josué Quintal to make the kick off. Sebastião Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeff Van Haechten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeff Van Haechten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Sebastião Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute Edmondo Ruggieri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastião Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmondo Ruggieri in the 62nd minute of the match. Edmondo Ruggieri charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmondo Ruggieri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Les Bistouquettes Bleues getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Edmondo Ruggieri hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the game, Jonas Abreu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Diederik De Raemaekers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Raymond Rutgeerts took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastião Garcia. Sebastião Garcia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. After 83 played minutes Elite™- FC Galácticos got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Torres. After a rather tough play, Elite™- FC Galácticos's Jonas Abreu got a free kick in the 90th minute. Josué Quintal kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Edmondo Ruggieri notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of Elite™- FC Galácticos's Sebastião Garcia. Sebastião Garcia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Les Bistouquettes Bleues were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Elite™- FC Galácticos for a fine match.
