Spectators: 165 (Terracing: 124, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jeff Van Haechten started the match with the kick off. Diederik De Raemaekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Ihintza in the 8th minute of play. alvarado's Ciro Ostadar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save alvarado from getting a goal against them. In the 15thth minute of the game Donato Ihintza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Les Bistouquettes Bleues's Diederik De Raemaekers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Jeff Van Haechten came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Les Bistouquettes Bleues fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeff Van Haechten couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in alvarado's zone, Edmondo Ruggieri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Ostadar came out of the goal and Edmondo Ruggieri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the match, Les Bistouquettes Bleues's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Bordat came free, but Diederik De Raemaekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abel Bordat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Diederik De Raemaekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmondo Ruggieri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Diederik De Raemaekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Bordat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Inocencio Sarracino during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st minute of the match, Jeff Van Haechten got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ciro Ostadar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 44 minutes into the game, Edmondo Ruggieri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ciro Ostadar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abel Bordat to make the kick off. In the 50th minute, Willy Hendrickx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the game, alvarado's Evaristo Lorenz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diederik De Raemaekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. A collision led to alvarado getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Evaristo Lorenz hit a great ball. If Donato Ihintza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 70 played minutes Donato Ihintza rounded Les Bistouquettes Bleues's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3. In the 75th minute, Jeff Van Haechten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Willy Hendrickx hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute of the match, Donato Ihintza tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Diederik De Raemaekers saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ciro Ostadar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willy Hendrickx in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Willy Hendrickx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Ostadar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The alvarado players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
