Spectators: 205 (Terracing: 154, Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vaggelis Ruvelas started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Jan-Hauke Balke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 4th minute Vaggelis Ruvelas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Teyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the game, Jan-Hauke Balke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. International Thunders's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OMONOIA the free kick. Polybos Malavazos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Björn Hainl in the 8th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Björn Hainl reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Polybos Malavazos. The goal made the score 1-1. A collision led to International Thunders getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Jan-Hauke Balke hit a great ball. In the 21st minute, International Thunders's Gerrit Dohr ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Polybos Malavazos. Polybos Malavazos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Akheloos Xydis took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciro Teyo. Ciro Teyo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodrigo Ferdinand in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Polybos Malavazos saved OMONOIA from getting behind. 31 minutes into the match, International Thunders's Björn Hainl sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Polybos Malavazos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Konstantinos Triantis during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to OMONOIA getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Konstantinos Triantis hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, OMONOIA's Akheloos Xydis got a free kick in the 40th minute. With a little luck, OMONOIA's Polybos Malavazos got control of the ball when Björn Hainl tried to sneak it across the goal line. OMONOIA's Polybos Malavazos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Björn Hainl in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 52nd match minute, OMONOIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kreon Gazonas to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute of the match Tim Köppen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Polybos Malavazos skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Björn Hainl in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Polybos Malavazos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Polybos Malavazos came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by International Thunders's Norman Zahn. But to his dismay, Norman Zahn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Björn Hainl in the 63rd minute of play forced OMONOIA's goalkeeper Polybos Malavazos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute Gerrit Dohr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Polybos Malavazos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Björn Hainl's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Polybos Malavazos was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. If Norman Zahn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 83 minutes of play, International Thunders's Benjamin Bleich made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Polybos Malavazos was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, OMONOIA's Hector Geracimos got a free kick in the 90th minute. Tim Köppen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Polybos Malavazos. OMONOIA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in International Thunders's zone, Vaggelis Ruvelas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Teyo came out of the goal and Vaggelis Ruvelas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. International Thunders walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
