Spectators: 206 (Terracing: 155, Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) Vaggelis Ruvelas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the match, FC Jones's goal looked a bit too open when Akheloos Xydis came free, but Manne Vapaniemi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Polybos Malavazos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jyrki Lundell, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute, Iivari Kapanen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manne Vapaniemi came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by OMONOIA's Vaggelis Ruvelas. But to his dismay, Vaggelis Ruvelas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Vaggelis Ruvelas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Manne Vapaniemi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th match minute, FC Jones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iivari Kapanen to maneuver through the defense. FC Jones's Manne Vapaniemi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vaggelis Ruvelas in the 15th minute of play. Akheloos Xydis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Polybos Malavazos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jyrki Lundell in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 31st minute Vaggelis Ruvelas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manne Vapaniemi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Hector Geracimos notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of FC Jones's Manne Vapaniemi. Manne Vapaniemi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Iivari Kapanen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Polybos Malavazos having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Jonni Pasoja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute Silvo Gustafsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Polybos Malavazos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Polybos Malavazos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kullervo Laulaja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jyrki Lundell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Polybos Malavazos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvo Gustafsson in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the match, OMONOIA's goal looked a bit too open when Kullervo Laulaja came free, but Polybos Malavazos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Silvo Gustafsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Jones's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvo Gustafsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Polybos Malavazos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manne Vapaniemi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vaggelis Ruvelas in the 67th minute of the match. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind OMONOIA's goalkeeper Polybos Malavazos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Jones's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Iivari Kapanen in the 75th minute. In the 78th minute, Nikos Petrakos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Silvo Gustafsson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Polybos Malavazos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Vaggelis Ruvelas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manne Vapaniemi having to interfere. OMONOIA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
