Loui Volens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Librado in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, De Beverpatrouille's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Librado came free, but Loui Volens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Claus Rijmenans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Matxin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florencio Librado hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 33rdth minute of the game Florencio Librado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but De Beverpatrouille's Loui Volens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by De Beverpatrouille's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Placido Neron was slow to take the kick. During this time BAC Belgrano de Cba's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Placido Neron got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Loui Volens quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 38 minutes of play, De Beverpatrouille's Claus Rijmenans made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ermegildo Matxin was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Lucio Ihintza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Christoph Gebuers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ermegildo Matxin having to make a save.
